Shipping and returns.

 

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Ground Shipping: Heirloom Bindery offers FREE ground shipping on orders over $150 going to any destination in the contiguous United States. Please allow 2 weeks for arrival of in-stock items. Custom orders such as Styling Boards may take up to 4 weeks depending on fabric availability. The fine art album printing and binding process can take between 10 to 12 weeks after design approval. Orders are shipped from Santa Barbara, CA and Westchester, New York.

Expedited shipping: We offer expedited orders on a case by case basis via UPS 2-Day delivery for an additional cost. If you need your order further expedited, please email us at studio@heirloombindery.com for options. Overnight shipping (when available) is billed at the market rate for orders no later than 12PM PST. Please note that overnight shipments will arrive by 8PM the next business day.

Split shipping: Orders containing pre-ordered items or customized items will be shipped when all items are available for shipment. If an order contains an item with a delayed ship date, the entire order will ship together.

Hawaii and Alaska:  We ship to Hawaii and Alaska at an additional cost.

Other: Please note that we do not ship to PO Boxes. Further, we currently do not ship to Guam and the US Virgin Islands.

Weather: Heirloom Bindery is not responsible for delays due to weather.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All international sales are final. We ship internationally pending customs clearance. If you are interested, you can use a service such as www.usgobuy.com. This will allow you to create your own US address with which you can order through our website. Please note that we are not affiliated with any such shipping service. Once again, orders shipped to any destination other than the US are final sale and exempt from returns. We are not responsible for stolen packages or those delivered torn, open or damaged.

Custom Duties & Taxes: Import duties and taxes will be collected by your local customs officials. You will be responsible for all custom fees.

Order Processing: International orders will be packed and ready to ship 2 to 3 weeks of order placement and should arrive within 2 to 4 weeks after that (except for albums which take 10 to 12 weeks or longer). Business days are Mondays through Fridays, excluding holidays. International orders are subject to customs clearance, which may cause delays beyond provided delivery estimates.

Exchange Rates: Orders are paid in USD and the exchange rate will be calculated at time of purchase by the customer’s credit card processor. We are unable to offer adjustments for exchange rate changes. The exchange rate and international credit card fees will be dependent on the credit card that the customer is using.

DOMESTIC RETURNS

Heirloom Bindery accepts returns of undamaged and unused product within 15 days of shipment for store credit only.

If your product is damaged, please send us a photograph of both the packaging as well as the product. Damaged products can be returned for store credit or a full refund.

Note: Customized items (albums, embossed boxes, custom styling board pairs, etc.) are final sale and cannot be returned.

Steps To Return Item(s)

  • Please email studio@heirloombindery.com about your return. In case of damage, please photograph damaged products including damaged packaging.

  • You may then select two different options:  
    1. You may package and return your item for store credit (not including shipping costs). Credit will be issued once your item is received and is verified to be in like-new condition. receive a full refund amount in Merchandise Credit and Heirloom Bindery will cover the return shipping.
    2. We can send you a return shipping label and deduct the shipping cost plus a $15 administrative fee from the value of store credit issued. You will still be responsible for packaging your item

  • If your item is damaged, you may still select from the two options above, however you will also have the option of having shipping costs and/or the value of the product refunded instead of receiving store credit.

  • After selecting your return option, please print the return label provided and return form.

  • Please pack items to be returned and return form inside an appropriate shipping box and seal. Items that are returned damaged or in unusable condition will not receive credit or refunds.

  • Affix the return label to the outside of the box and drop off at your nearest UPS or USPS location.

  • Your credit or refund will be applied within 3-8 business days upon receipt of your item(s).

  • At any point, you may check the status of your return by emailing us at studio@heirloombindery.com.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Heirloom Bindery does not support pre-paid international return labels at this time. All international sales are final. Please contact studio@heirloombindery.com if you need further assistance.

EXCHANGES

Heirloom Bindery accepts undamaged and unused product within 15 days of shipment. Please see Domestic Returns.
